Hi all can you believe I am back again! 😱 I am on a roll in 2025 BABY! LOL. We shall see how long I can keep this momentum up though LOL.
“If you have been keeping up with my last few vlogs and articles, then in the last article and vlog you would have seen I explained that I was going to eventually release a part three.
I had explained in the last vlog that the reason I was planning on doing a part three is because there were a few important stories and details I left out in those past two vlogs, because I either forgot to talk about them during their filming or because I just couldn’t fit it in.
The last two vlogs I did, one was fifty one minutes long and the other was forty minutes, and so I just didn’t feel I could possibly fit anything else in either of those vlogs but yet there were some important stories and experiences that I had gone through that I still hadn’t talked about, so that’s why I wanted to do a part three, but I promise this last vlog (part three) is the final video/article to this.
In this video (attached above👆) I explain how I felt like the hospital I was in, invaded my privacy by watching me 24/7 on a camera. I also go into a few other details about some other minor things that I went through. Even though they were minor, they were still traumatic.
One thing I feel I did learn during these few experiences, is how to not feel guilty for trying to hold people accountable for their wrong doings.
I am not saying you should be a tattletale, but I am saying I think it is totally ok and even justifiable to stand up for yourself and hold people accountable when they are in the wrong.
I was raised in a very Christian household, and one of the things that Christian’s are wrong about, especially Christian’s from the 90s and early 2000s, is they would raise us kids to think we had to be a push over. They raised us to think that if we fought back and stood up for ourselves then we were not showing the love of Christ.
If we became bold with anyone they would give us that look, you know the look I’m talking about. The look of shame, the look of disgust, and it’s so sad because Christian’s are becoming so judgmental and instead of building each other up, they are just wanting to judge and worse, control!
I am here to tell you, do not fall into that trap! I am not telling you to go out and be a jerk to people, but I am saying if there is someone who’s doing wrong to you, do not be intimidated or afraid to fight back and stand up for yourself.
Just because you are a Christian, it doesn’t mean you have to let people walk all over you, speak up! There are ways to get your point across to people without being disrespectful! Be bold, but be respectful and loving. Asking a person to be loving, is completely different than asking a person to love someone.
If there is someone in your life right now, and you feel you just can’t love them, that’s fine, you don’t have to love them, but just make sure you show them love.
There is a difference between loving someone and showing love, People have those two things so screwed up, especially in the world of Christianity. People struggle because they think they have to love everyone and when they realize that can’t achieve that, they start feeling defeated. Don’t let Christian’s and church people confuse you, you do not have to love everyone, it’s completely natural for us not to get along or feel connected to everyone in the world. There are certain people that we just might not be able to connect with and that’s ok, Christ isn’t dumb, he knows we are not all going to get along.
We are all complex creatures, I am not going to love or even like, everyone that you love and like and vice versa and that’s ok! Christ knew we were not all going to get along, that’s why he gave us the tools we need in order to learn how to handle people.
It is totally understandable and ok for us to stand up for ourselves, do not feel guilty about it, please I beg of you, don’t fall into that trap. As long as you know how to stand up for yourself in a healthy and loving manner then go for it, do not let anyone control or push you around.
Especially if you are disabled, I know when you are disabled and especially severely disabled where you have to depend on people to do everything for you. I know it can feel difficult to stand up for yourself.
For example in my case, I have moments where I have wanted to fight back and fight for my freewill. There were many times I was forced to do things that maybe I just didn’t want to do that day but yet I felt like I had no choice, no right to speak my mind. I used to think; these people are literally cleaning up my bodily fluids, so how could I then complain about anything?
The truth is I do have a right, just because someone is cleaning up after me does not mean I do not have a right to privacy or freewill, we all have a right to freewill, I mean even Jesus himself gave us freewill, so if he allows and knows we deserve freewill than why do we think differently?
